These detailed prints are hand-painted reproductions from the botanical folio Basilius Besler created in the early 17th century by commission of the Prince-Bishop of Eichstatt, who wanted to chronicle his extensive garden. The handcrafted prints are aged and crackled, matted then framed under beveled glass. Pine frame has an antiqued silver-leaf finish.
