With Spice and Wood's depth and power, sixth generation master perfumer Olivier Creed celebrates the House of Creed's long history of creating fragrance of great aesthetic value. The Royal Exclusives collection is one of the most ambitious projects in Creed's 250 years, a statement to the creative world about the legacy, quality and collectability of fragrance as art.
Classification: Woody-Spicy / Fresh
Characteristics: Strength refined and power honed are the hallmarks of Creed Spice and Wood. Rich with natural treasures of the East and Europe, Spice and Wood is fit for wear in the competitive places of a man's life and in his realms of celebration, from concert hall to holiday fete. A Creed Royal Exclusive, Spice and Wood is offered in a one-ounce spray or in a hand blown Pochet glass bottle etched with Creed's crest: art object and fragrance in one. Its sculptural cap is removed to reveal a masculine steel spray pump: modern, fast and easy to use.
Top note: Bergamot, essence of sun-drenched lemons and aromatic apples from Italy.
Middle note: Angelic root, oil of cloves, desert peppers, heady patchouli, a hint of white birch.
Base note: Egyptian iris and pungent cedar, oak moss and finest musk for depth.
Founded in 1760 and passed from father to son, Creed is the world's only privately held luxury fragrance dynasty. Based in Paris, the company today is led by Olivier Creed, a sixth-generation master perfumer. Creed is famous for unrelenting high standards when it comes to fragrance creation.. Mr. Creed travels the globe searching for the purest essences to compose his masterpieces. Using the infusion technique (which has been abandoned by the modern industry), Creed weighs, mixes, macerates, and filters everything by hand. They also use the highest percentage of natural components in the prestigious French perfume industry.
