Designer

About Candela:
Started in a dark Brooklyn basement in 2004 by Natalia Kuks and Gabriela Perezutti of Argentina and Uruguay, respectively, Candela took off when the pair introduced some Bohemian styles, inspired by their Latin American ranching background. Combining that raw influence with that of richly diverse NYC street fashion, Natalia and Gabriela grew their line to include gowns, casual dresses, tops, blouses, shoes, belts and handbags. From leathers and chunky knits manufactured in Argentina to India-produced flowing silks and embroideries, Candela's pieces are feminine and frilly, without being over the top.
