"When I met with some of fashion's most influential designers to coordinate the nail looks for their fall 2011 collections, I noticed a common theme among them all: warmth. And I'm not talking cashmere and fur lining (though I did spot some). Their color selections were rich and luxurious, somewhat earth - think lush greens, full-bodied reds, intense golds - which gave the clothes a warm familiarity.
It was their sumptuous color choices that inspired mine. I wanted to capture a similar warmth and earthiness, but with an added punch. Brick House, a shimmering rust, has warm undertones, which give it a beautiful intensity, but also has a jewel-like quality so it pops off the nails."
