"Traditionally Narciso requests a nude nail to complement his minimalist designs. But this time around, he wanted something bolder - a color with strength and edge that countered both this collection, and the softness of the hair and makeup. So in the middle of what was already a demanding week, I mixed and mixed a new shade by hand in a matter of 24 hours. The final look: an edgy granite that had everything Narciso wanted - power and intensity. The models who walked the show (and who rarely, if ever, comment on the nail color) gushed over the shade.
After the show, Narciso and I decided the bold color was an important statement to make for the season. And so our collaboration was born: Stormy Weather, an edgy granite (creme)."
