Donna Karan
Lace-Inset Peasant Blouse & Cuff Cotton Shorts

"Romantic and feminine—you'll wear this blouse now and for years to come. Teamed with cuffed cotton shorts, it's the height of Summer style."
-Ken Downing, NM Fashion Director. Ken is picking out his favorite pieces for Spring—see for yourself what made this Donna Karan look catch his discerning eye.

Donna Karan's Spring 2011 runway featured dresses awash in pale shades (vanilla, taupe, honey, sand) and airy fabrics (chiffon, crepe, charmeuse, satin). The overall effect was stunning, romantic, and critically acclaimed—yet not quite right for weekend shopping and brunch with friends. But by tweaking shapes and adding separates, Karan translated the runway's themes to the rest of her collection. We love this look's fresh, colorless palette and luxurious fabrics. The overall effect is romantic—but not head over heels.
