What it is:
A versatile palette of four buildable, matte shades for bronzing and contouring.
What it does:
The four graduated matte tones are perfect for contouring. Use the deeper tones to sculpt and define features and the lighter tones to highlight.
This perfect selection of shades can also be used to create a natural, sun-kissed glow. Use alone or blend the shades together to create your ideal color. Easily adaptable as your complexion may vary in tone as the seasons change.
What else you need to know:
Terracotta 4 Seasons is available in 6 harmonies from fair to deep so women of all skin tones can enjoy a beautifully contoured look or naturally matte bronzed glow year round. Terracotta Bronzers are a cult classic. Guerlain launched the world's first bronzer in 1984. Terracotta powders are meant to mix and match to suit your preference.
The powder has a unique fragrance. The top notes reveal a joyful accord of bergamot and mandarin. The heart takes over with the sunny, feminine notes of gardenia, jasmine and ylang-ylang, which play off the lightness of honeysuckle. Vanilla, blended with woody notes, gives this legendary scent its character and mystery.
How to Use:
Use shades deeper than your natural skin tone to create depth and definition. For example, using a brush blush, sweep under the cheekbone in the hollow of cheeks to create a more sculpted look. Using an eye shadow brush, apply a deeper shade in the crease of the eyelids to make eyes look more deep set. Or sweep down the sides of the nose for a more streamlined look.
Use shades lighter than your natural skin tone to open and illuminate features. For example, sweep over the cheekbones to make them pop and under and over the eyebrows to make eyes look open and lifted. Sweep down the bridge of the nose for a more contoured look.
Using Guerlain's signature "3"gesture, apply with the Terracotta brush by tracing a figure three on each side of the face. Start by sweeping across the forehead, down and around the cheekbones, then down along the jaw line to the chin.
Don't forget to blend from the jawline to the neck to create a seamless glow without any trace of lines.
