In 1975, Canadian art student John Hardy traveled to Indonesia to learn jewelry-making with a master Balinese artisan. Embodying that modern spin on the traditional, this chain necklace alternates between infinity, cable, and rolo links, punctuated with square stations inspired by the smooth river rocks found in Bali.
- From the Kali Collection.
- Sterling silver pebble design.
- Infinity, rolo, and cable links form 18"L sautoir chain.
- Six square stations.
- Lobster clasp.
- Handcrafted in Bali.
Kali, which means 'river' in Balinese, drew its design inspiration from the water-smoothedstones that line the streams of Bali. The motif is highly polished freeform pebble shapes set in a random pattern, heightened with deep oxidation.
