Floral Woody, Musky 2009
This Lalique sent pays homage to the woody male scent. The fragrance magnifies wood but in an absolutely feminine way. Perfumer Christine Nagel has chosen vetiver, with its intriguing perfume of the forest and undergrowth, and has enclosed within it some warm, voluptuous floral scents.
For Hesperidean freshness from the start, the perfumer chose Sicilian bergamot, with tiny grains of Indonesian amber for a subtle musky scent. A delicate and fresh blend of freesia breathes energy into the floral part.
At its heart, the Turkish rose stands proud, mellow, powdery, accompanied by osmanthus from China, a flower with a particularly fruity scent, sweetened with apricot and kephalis, with an amber, tobacco-like woody hint. In the background, vetiver from Haiti stands majestic, with Texan cedar, enveloped with white musk.
Encre Noir Pour Elle is a perfume with a wonderful scent, warm and sensual with its woody, musky flowers that surprise with exquisite femininity.
A renowned name during the Art Deco movement, Lalique has continued to create exquisite crystal pieces for modern times. In 1926, Rene Lalique began manufacturing satin-finished vases, bowls, and statuettes. Today, his fine tradition endures with themes ranging from classical forms to ultramodern designs.
