Christened for a tiny New Mexico village near Santa Fe, Nambe (nom-BAY) is known for simple, elegant designs that reflect its devotion to form as well as function. Nambe's unique, eight-metal alloy resembles silver yet never needs polishing; it retains heat and cold and can be used in the oven, refrigerator, freezer, or on the stovetop.
The designer behind some of Nambe's most popular pieces, Neil Cohen
holds two degrees from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design. His work combines a sense of humor and discovery with a refined perspective on shape and material. Cohen has been featured in The New York Times, New York Magazine, and the "30 Under 30" exhibition of leading young designers, and he has received the Objects of Design Award from AIGA, the professional association for design.
