A fitting addition to its signature custom designed collection of Makeup Brushes, NARS introduces the Kabuki Artisan Botan Brush, a stylish new brush steeped in tradition and culture.
- With its large, dense dome shape, this brush is excellent for loose powder application and for buffing the skin and décolleté.
- Its multifunctional design makes it great for blending and applying NARS Sparkling Loose Powder and other powder-based products for face and body.
Adapting the aesthetic from traditional Japanese culture, NARS Kabuki Artisan Brushes meld tradition with modernity both in concept and function. The brushes are made of super black goat hair, known for its softness and strength, and the handle of each brush incorporates NARS' signature soft touch matte black design with an engraved logo for an overall feel of modern elegance.
Finding their place in modern makeup, the unique design of each Artisan Brush encourages multifunctional use, thus making them a versatile tool in everyday makeup application.
Francois Nars, who grew up in southern France and studied makeup artistry in Paris, introduced his NARS collection in 1994, consisting of a dozen highly pigmented lipsticks. Cult status came almost overnight, and over the years the line has expanded to include a full range of makeup, including the versatile Multiple stick, along with beauty tools and skin care. The multi-talented Francois Nars has photographed his own advertising campaigns since 1996.
