Oscar de la Renta
Trapunto-Stitch Dress

Polish and poise has never been a problem for Oscar de la Renta, so the lady-chic trend certainly isn't a stretch for the designer, but what we love is how he interprets it a little differently with a hot pink shade and ornate trapunto topstitching.
  • Hot pink trapunto-stitched satin.
  • High, round neckline.
  • Sleeveless; bra-friendly shoulder coverage.
  • Natural waist.
  • A-line skirt; welt pockets at hip.
  • Contrast-stitching on hem.
  • Silk.
  • Made in Italy.

About Oscar de la Renta:
After apprenticing at Balenciaga in Spain and at Lanvin in Paris, Dominican designer Oscar de la Renta launched his own eponymous line in 1965. His refined, ladylike looks have garnered many awards, including one in 1990 for Lifetime Achievement. In 1998, he launched a successful line of lingerie and his momentum shows no signs of waning with the collections of eyewear, fragrance, home decor, handbags, and shoes.
