    How long does it take for a Virtual Gift Card to process?

    Within the next business day of order completion, the Virtual Gift Card will be emailed to the gift recipient. Orders for Virtual Gift Cards may be subject to additional verification before fulfillment.

    My Virtual Gift Card link says it is invalid. Why?

    If you have clicked your Virtual Gift Card link and the page states your Virtual Gift Card is invalid, your URL link has wrapped and is not populating completely in your browser. To access the Gift Card, please copy and paste the entire URL into a new browser.

    How will I know how much my order will cost?

    Just add items to your shopping cart and click on the checkout button. Borderfree will calculate and display an order total in your preferred currency, including all shipping costs to your international destination, as well as any applicable duties and taxes imposed by the Customs and Revenue authorities in the destination country.

    Are there any additional costs due upon receipt of my order?

    No. When you use the Borderfree global checkout, you will be provided with an order total in your preferred currency. The order total presented will be the exact amount you will be billed by Borderfree. There will never be any additional costs billed upon delivery or due as C.O.D. charges.

    What currencies does Borderfree support?

    How much does International shipping cost?

    The international shipping cost will be calculated and guaranteed during the Borderfree global checkout and is calculated based on the service level, the number of items purchased, the weight of the items, the destination country, and all applicable duties and taxes.

    When am I billed?

    Your credit card will be billed by Borderfree at the time your parcel(s) leaves the United States.

    How are duty and taxes charged on International orders?

    Duty (or customs tariffs) is set by the destination country customs authorities and is determined based on a combination of the country of origin or manufacturing of the merchandise purchased, the classification of the merchandise in accordance with a harmonized system adopted and used by the countries Borderfree supports, and the Value Added Tax (VAT) rates set by the destination country. You will be able to view the guaranteed total amount of applicable duty and tax/VAT for your Neiman Marcus order within the Borderfree global checkout.

    Are there any items that cannot ship to designated countries because they are restricted?

    If, for some reason, there are items that cannot be exported from the United States or imported into a particular destination country, Borderfree will notify you during the checkout process.

    • In compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation rules, restricted items such as fragrances must be delivered via standard shipping and cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, all U.S. territories, or APO/FPO addresses.
    • Certain consumer commodities such as aerosols, nail polish, fragrances, and other alcohol-based products are restricted air shipment products.
    • Some items require Fish & Wildlife declaration documents to export to certain countries. The cost of filing this documentation is $93.00 and will be added to your order total.     Are there current restrictions on large dollar items?

    Items greater than $10,000 cannot currently ship to International countries.

    Do you ship to United States military addresses (APO/FPO)?

    Orders shipping to United States military addresses are not subject to the same costs and shipping restrictions as other international orders. Please choose the United States as your shipping destination.

    Delivery & Processing Charges (D&P)

    D&P is the charge for catalog and internet order processing, item selection, packaging, processing, transport, and handling. Special delivery requests, including specification of carrier and/or future delivery dates, may include additional charges. Delivery times are not guaranteed, notwithstanding additional charges, but are our best approximation and will vary with specific requests, such as gift box, gift wrap, and monogramming. Shipments and deliveries occur only on weekdays. D&P is subject to change and will be determined at time of order and subject to the following:

    FREE Standard Day Delivery

    Unless an expedited service is requested, your order should arrive in approximately 3 to 6 business days?after shipping if ordered by 12:00 noon (CT). Certain items requiring special delivery, oversized items, select merchandise, and some vendor-specific items, have additional Delivery & Processing charges.     • Items ordered together may be delivered separately, and the D&P will be allocated over shipments but not necessarily evenly.

    Professional assembly is recommended for some of our merchandise and will be noted when you place your order. Assembly is included with delivery service only for items shipped to Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia. For items shipped to states not listed here, assembly arrangements and expenses are the responsibility of the customer.

    Delivery to Post Office Boxes

    No additional charge will be added to the applicable D&P charges for standard, two business day, and next business day shipping for each additional delivery address.

    Restricted/Hazardous (HAZMAT) Items

    Certain customer commodities are considered hazardous materials, such as aerosols, nail polish, fragrances, and other alcohol-based products; our policy is to ship these items as standard D&P (ground only) to continental U.S. locations and Canada (excludes Alaska and Hawaii), and to prohibit the shipping to international locations, including APO/FPO/DPO addresses, Puerto Rico, Guam, and all other U.S. territories.

    Perishable Goods
    When ordering, please be prepared to provide each recipient's telephone number(s).

    Most perishable items are shipped directly from our vendors via air within the contiguous U.S. only and cannot be delivered to APO, FPO, or P.O. Boxes.

    These items may incur a Delivery and Processing charge. The Delivery and Processing charge for these items are added per item and not calculated on the total dollar amount for all perishable items. Perishables and calculated separately from non-perishable items in your order.

    Perishables are delivered Tuesday through Friday only; no Saturday, Sunday, Monday, or holiday deliveries. Gift packaging is not available.

    Items arrive in separate boxes and incur separate overnight Delivery & Processing charges. To ensure product quality, all perishable items (except our complete meals) are packaged individually. Multiple orders of the same item cannot be combined. Our complete meals incur only one Delivery and Processing charge, making them an exceptional value.

    Any cancellation must be requested at least four (4) days prior to the delivery date.

    Unless noted, most garnishes are not included, but are added as an inspiration for your own presentations.

    Drop Ship Items

    Drop ship items are shipped directly from the manufacturer to your door. Second-day and next-day shipping are not available on these items. These items cannot be delivered to APO, FPO, or P.O. Boxes and cannot be gift-wrapped. Additional time should be allowed for processing the order, and heavy items may take up to 4 to 6 weeks for delivery.   • Pickup in Store

    Buy Online, Pickup in a Neiman Marcus store

    Need your order in a hurry or conveniently shipped to a nearby store? No worries! NeimanMarcus.com offers Buy Online, Pickup in a Neiman Marcus store! Eligible items are noted on the checkout page when you select the shipping option. Want it gift wrapped? No problem! Just check that option in your shopping bag!

    Order by 4PM local time for items available in your selected store pickup location and receive it the same day with no shipping charges! A Store Pickup Confirmation email will notify you when order is ready for pick up in approximately two hours after you receive the Order Summary confirmation email.

    If you have selected an item that is not currently available in your preferred store pickup location, we can ship it to your preferred store location in approximately 3-5 days. The Order Summary email will provide you with an estimated delivery date. Once it's ready for pickup, you will receive a Store Pickup Confirmation email.

    We'll hold your order at the store for 7 days. If you don't pick your merchandise up by then, we'll cancel the order and refund your method of payment. Check store hours.

    Here is what you need to pick up your order - simple as 1-2-3!

    1. Wait until you receive the Store Pickup Confirmation email to proceed to the store. Please print or provide the email confirmation from your mobile device at pickup.
    2. Provide a current valid government-issued ID, (name must match the order). (Note: Neiman Marcus authorized credit card holders can be verified if they have placed the order using a NM or BG credit card). (Gift recipients, Personal Assistants, etc. cannot pick up the order).
    3. Please provide the credit card used on the order, unless the form of payment was PayPal. The card type and last four digits of the account number must match the order. Only authorized credit card holders can pick up the order.

  • Price Adjustments

    Prices are subject to change. Excluding Online Clearance merchandise, we offer a one-time (single order) refund or adjustment for items purchased within 10 days of a price adjustment. This includes permanent Sale items and excludes temporary special promotion items and Online Clearance items. For questions and adjustments, call 1.888.888.4757.

    We work hard to ensure the accuracy of pricing on NeimanMarcus.com, but despite our best efforts, pricing errors may occur.

    • If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge you the lower amount when your order is shipped.
    • If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, contact you for instructions before shipping. If we are unable to contact you after 15 days, we will cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
  • Order Cancellation

    You may be able to cancel a Neiman Marcus order as long as the order status is "in process." If order status is "shipped," it cannot be canceled. A pickup and/or restock fee may apply.

    Personalized and monogrammed orders cannot be canceled or returned.

    Perishable/Gourmet foods: Cancellation request must be received at least 4 days prior to the requested delivery date.

    REGISTERED CUSTOMERS: You may cancel your web order online. Click on YOUR ONLINE ACCOUNT, sign in, select "View Web Order History", click on the desired order number, and then select CANCEL next to the item(s) you wish to cancel.

    1. Pay with an NM Gift Card®.
    2. Purchase Neiman Marcus Gift Cards® (in the form of a plastic credit-card style or NM Virtual Gift Card email). NM Gift Cards® may be redeemed online, at NM by Mail (phone order), or at your local Neiman Marcus store.
    3. Check the value of an NM Gift Card®.

    Paying for an online order with an NM Gift Card® or an NM Virtual Gift Card

    • To pay for an online order with an NM Gift Card® or an NM Virtual Gift Card, you will need the gift card number, plus, for security purposes, the four-digit code that appears on the back of the traditional card or on the NM Virtual Gift Card.
    • If you are paying with multiple gift cards, you cannot choose the amount to be deducted from each gift card. The balance due is deducted from the gift card with the least value first and then from the remaining gift cards in ascending order.
    • The remaining balance of your order, if any, will need to be charged to a credit card which can be entered on the payment screen.
    • Any unused value remains on the NM Gift Card® or NM Virtual Gift Card until you choose to use it.
    • If you cancel your order once it ships, or if you return your order, then you will be mailed a Merchandise Credit Gift Card, provided the returned merchandise is within the return policy guidelines.

    Terms and Conditions (NM Virtual Gift Card)

    The following Terms and Conditions govern your use of the NM Virtual Gift Card and they may only be modified in a writing signed by both parties:

    • NM Virtual Gift Cards may be treated the same as cash.
    • NM Virtual Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash, nor can they be returned for a cash refund.

    Terms and Conditions (NM Gift Card®)

    The following Terms and Conditions govern your use of the NM Gift Card and they may only be modified in a writing signed by both parties:

    • NM Gift Cards may be treated the same as cash.
    • NM Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash, nor can they be returned for a cash refund.
    • NM Gift Card actual cash value is 1/10 of one cent.
    • NM Gift Cards cannot be purchased with an NM Virtual Gift Card, nor can they be used to purchase an NM Virtual Gift Card.
    • NM Gift Cards cannot be applied as payment on Neiman Marcus Credit Card accounts.
    • The NM Gift Card is immediately redeemable once your recipient receives the NM Gift Card via standard shipping (we'll send up to three days after processing your order).
    • Sales tax is applicable on any merchandise purchased with a NM Gift Card.
    • Delivery to an incorrect but deliverable shipping address is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
    • Delivery to a nonexistent shipping address is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
    • Neiman Marcus is not responsible for lost or stolen NM Gift Cards.

    Federal Requirements

    To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law now requires Neiman Marcus and other retailers to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies customers in connection with certain gift card transactions. Such information includes your name, address, date of birth, and other identifying information, such as your driver's license or passport number.

    Neiman Marcus understands how important it is to our customers that such information is kept confidential. We will not use or transfer your information for any purpose other than as permitted or required by law, except with your consent.

    The new law also restricts our ability to offer gift card cash redemptions (other than minimal amounts required by law). In addition, certain returns may need to be processed at the Store Credit Office.
