    Delivery & Processing Charges (D&P)

    D&P is the charge for catalog and internet order processing, item selection, packaging, processing, transport, and handling. Special delivery requests, including specification of carrier and/or future delivery dates, may include additional charges. Delivery times are not guaranteed, notwithstanding additional charges, but are our best approximation and will vary with specific requests, such as gift box, gift wrap, and monogramming. Shipments and deliveries occur only on weekdays. D&P is subject to change and will be determined at time of order and subject to the following:

    Standard Delivery

    Unless an expedited service is requested, your order should arrive in approximately 5 to 7 business days after shipping if ordered by 12:00 noon (CST).

    Two-Day Delivery

    If requested, add $10.00 to standard D&P. Your order should arrive in 2 business days after shipping if ordered by 12:00 noon (CST). Please note two-day orders placed Friday after 12:00 noon (CST) or Saturday will be processed Monday and should arrive in 2 business days after shipping. Some heavy or bulky items may not qualify for this service. A signature may be required and additional charges may be assessed if more than one attempt is made for delivery. This service is not available for some zip codes.

    Overnight Delivery

    If requested, add $17.00 to standard D&P. Your order should arrive the next business day after shipping if ordered by 12:00 noon (CST). Please note overnight orders placed Friday after 12:00 noon (CST) or Saturday will be processed Monday and should arrive the next business day after shipping. Some heavy or bulky items may not qualify for this service. A signature may be required and additional charges may be assessed if more than one attempt is made for delivery.

    Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Guam Deliveries

    Add $5.00 to the applicable D&P charges for standard shipping. Your order should arrive in approximately 7 to 10 business days if ordered by 12:00 noon (CST).

    International Deliveries

    A base delivery charge will be quoted at the time of order placement that could be amended at a later date for additional charges in the foreign country. Delivery transit days to the recipient will vary depending upon the destination country. Duties and taxes will be the responsibility of the recipient.

    If requested, items may be held for a specified delivery date.

    Additional Address

    Please add $8.00 to the applicable D&P charges for each additional delivery address.

    • Items ordered together may be delivered separately, and the D&P will be allocated over shipments but not necessarily evenly.
    • Some orders may require more than one package to ship; for these shipments the additional charge for two-day and overnight deliveries would be a per-package charge.
    • Returns may affect final D&P charges. D&P charges are not refundable unless merchandise is damaged or defective. Returns for reasons due to Neiman Marcus will receive D&P credit as D&P was allocated, which may result in a final D&P charge after return that differs from quoted rates.
    • Orders of multiple items from different catalogs will result in D&P from the table in the most current catalog, as D&P tables may vary from catalog to catalog.
    • D&P may vary between catalog orders and internet orders.
    • Certain items requiring special delivery have D&P charges indicated in parentheses after the price. For those items only, the amount in parentheses is the total delivery charge for that item.
    • In compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation rules, restricted or hazardous (HAZMAT) items as further defined below must be delivered via standard shipping and cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, all U.S. territories, or APO/FPO addresses.
    • If you request to change the destination address of a shipment en route, an additional charge may be assessed.

    Furniture Purchases

    Furniture delivery can take up to 12 weeks. Customer Care will provide an approximate deilvery date when you place your order. You may also call 1.888.888.4757 for order status.

    Professional assembly is recommended for some of our merchandise and will be noted when you place your order. Assembly is included with delivery service only for items shiped to Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia. For items shipped to states not listed here, assembly arrangements and expenses are the responsibility of the customer.

    Delivery to Post Office Boxes

    Second-day and next-day shipping are not available to post office boxes. All standard deliveries to P.O. Boxes will be shipped via parcel post. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding when you will receive your order.

    Restricted/Hazardous (HAZMAT) Items

    Certain customer commodities are considered hazardous materials, such as aerosols, nail polish, fragrances, and other alcohol-based products; our policy is to ship these items as standard D&P (ground only) to continental U.S. locations and Canada (excludes Alaska and Hawaii), and to prohibit the shipping to international locations, including APO/FPO/DPO addresses, Puerto Rico, Guam, and all other U.S. territories.

    Perishable Goods

    Perishable items are shipped to you directly from our vendors via air within the contiguous U.S. only. Therefore, if you need to cancel an order, we must recieve the cancellation at least four days prior to your requested delivery date. These items cannot be delivered to APO, FPO, or P.O. Boxes and cannot be gift-wrapped. The delivery and processing charges for these items are calculated separately from the charges for other items in your order. These charges are added per item, not calculated on the total dollar amount of all perishable items, per the Delivery & Processing chart. These items may also require an additional surcharge, noted in parentheses following the item price. When ordering, please be ready to provide us with the telephone number(s) of the recipient(s). Delivery of perishables is available Tuesday through Friday only; no Saturday, Sunday, Monday, or holiday deliveries.

    Drop Ship Items

    Drop ship items are shipped directly from the manufacturer to your door. Second-day and next-day shipping are not available on these items. These items cannot be delivered to APO, FPO, or P.O. Boxes and cannot be gift-wrapped. Additional time should be allowed for processing the order, and heavy items may take up to 4 to 6 weeks for delivery.     Sales tax is automatically applied to D&P charges in accordance with individual state regulations if your shipping address is in one of the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia.

    Items developed exclusiviely for The Neiman Marcus Group may appear at Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus Direct, Horchow, Last Call, and Cusp, divisions of The Neiman Marcus Group.

    Merchandise Delays
    All items are advertised in good faith. Certain items, however, are subject to unexpected production delays. We will do everything possible to secure these items and fill your order as quickly as possible.

    Availability and Prices
    Merchandise depicted may not always be available at every NM® store; however, we will make every effort to fulfill your order by phone. Please refer to the order-by date in the catalog or the book for specific availability dates. There may be a small price increase for orders placed in the U.S. and shipped to foreign countries.

    Descriptive, typographic, or photographic errors are subject to correction. We reserve the right to limit quantities ordered.

  • Credit Card Use

    Credit Options
    In addition to the Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman credit cards, American Express®, Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover®, and Diners Club International® credit cards are accepted for the book, catalog, and store purchases.

    Credit Cards: The total dollar amount of your order is allocated at the time your card is approved, although payment (transfer of funds) does not occur until the order ships. If the amount charged exceeds your credit limit, your order will be automatically canceled.

    Debit Cards: Payment is deducted from your account at the time your card is approved. A receipt is included with each order.

  • Order Cancellation

    You may be able to cancel a Neiman Marcus order as long as the order status is "in process." If order status is "shipped," it cannot be canceled. Call toll-free 1.888.888.4757 to determine order status; to cancel it, please have your order number ready. A pickup and/or restock fee may apply. Orders for personalized items cannot be canceled.
