The Art of Fashion, The Art of Play
The March issue of The Book is dedicated to the Art of Fashion. Renowned photographer Koto Bolofo and the crew shot on two Los Angeles locations, Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area and Dorris Place Elementary School, since the chosen theme was a childlike sense of play, a theme that proved infectious, as documented in this little film. Vivienne Westwood Red Label, Fall 2011
What better place for the queen of subversive fashion to show than London’s Royal Courts of Justice? The carnival atmosphere and eccentric audience at Vivienne Westwood’s Red Label show complemented the madcap British-ness of her clothes and gave an anti-establishment jab to the old-school solemnity of the Royal Courts. The younger Red Label collection was a cacophony of pattern, styles and influences inspired by Portobello Market.
