Sure, the news-making, trend-setting hairstyle at New York Fashion Week may have been the fine, sleek ponytail seen at Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Marc Jacobs. However, the ‘do that turned heads and latched onto memory belonged to designer Erin Fetherson. She typically induces hair envy all over town with her flawless, blunt bangs and straight, cornsilk strands. But on the night she launched her Erin line at Milk Studios, she and hair stylist Odile Gilbert showed how fancy hair—with silk cord braided in, no less—can also be chic, especially with a simple outfit.
