Creme de Corps Body Moisturizer with Jeff Koons Bottle Art

Jeff Koons’ whimsical metallic sculptures, like his rainbow balloon bouquet of tulips and his series of reflective 10-foot tall balloon dogs, are internationally recognizable and revered. This holiday season Koons brings his blown up signature to Kiehl’s Crème de Corps.

Koons is famous for his art, but less known is that he is also the father of an abducted child and an advocate for protecting children. Having already raised $400,000 through previous holiday initiatives, the American artist again collaborates with the apothecary line to support a cause close to Koons, the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children.

“Partnering with Kiehl’s again to help organizations like the Koons Family Institute and the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children not only helps on a worldwide scale, but it is also personally gratifying to know that our project will be able to actually do good around the world,” he says of his third year teaming up Kiehl’s for the cause. “Together we are trying to protect and nurture our children’s place in the community.”

For this year’s limited edition holiday collection, Kiehl’s emblazons the artist’s iconic Balloon Flower (Yellow), 1995-2000 onto the label of its most hydrating, richest body moisturizer, Crème de Corps.

“I believe that flowers are a symbol for perfect love, and an important expression for this charitable collaboration with Kiehl’s,” he says of the sculpture that was exhibited at Jeff Koons Versailles in 2008-2009, the first time a living artist was given the distinct honor of exhibiting at the venerable French site.

One hundred percent of Kiehl’s net proceeds up to $200,000 will benefit The Koons Family Institute, an initiative of the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children.
