Zodiac’s Fall 2011 Wine List
This Fall is truly all about Bordeaux. The swipe of a deep lacquer lipstick or the sip of a full-bodied wine will make you shine. The Zodiac restaurants of Neiman Marcus debut a new wine list, curated by resident “wine guy” Frank Zack, and we can’t help but boast the full bodied, Bordeaux – Chateau Greysac Médoc Cru. This classic red is indeed one of great aromatic finesse, combined with precise, sumptuous fruit flavors that develop in elegance and complexity over time. Enjoy deep ruby-garnet, fresh red berries, mingled with notes of cedar and spice, lovely red fruits, with full rich flavors balanced by silky tannins. Located in the Medoc region of Bordeaux, Chateau Greysac lies to the north of Saint Estephe, near the towns of By and Begadan. Its vineyards are comprised of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot. The average age of the vines is 25 years.
Span the French countryside and you will find a plethora of other savory sensations – Louis Jadot Couvent des Jacobins’ Pinot Noir, Burgundy (exclusively ours) or opt for the Nicolas Feuillatte Brut. Move stateside for a glass of Stag’s Leap Artemis Cabernet or Laguna Ranch Vineyards Chardonnay.
