NM Service App for iPhone, at Your Service
Neiman Marcus' new app, NM Service, is currently being tested in four stores.
You check in on Foursquare the second you step in the door to see what specials are in store, you tweet your followers to tell them that you’re shopping at @NeimanMarcus, and you Instagram the Louboutins you’re trying on with hashtag #NMLoubiLove.
You socialize non-stop with your phone while you shop, so it only makes sense to shop with your phone while you shop. Experience a new level of personal shopping with the new NM Service app, the free iPhone-only app that is currently being tested in our Austin, Dallas-NorthPark, San Francisco and Palo Alto stores.
NM Service allows you see which sales associates are in store, message and make appointments with your favorite sales associates, keep up with store events, mark favorite products which will automatically be visible to your selected sales associates and scan QR codes to unlock product information and trends.

How the App Works
You download NM Service from the iTunes app store and opt into service. In-store location sensors are installed at key entry points throughout the store. If the loaded app passes within range, the sensor automatically prompts NM Service to act. Once NM Service is engaged, you will be able to find new arrivals on the floor, and learn about the line, the designer and fabric. Set your NM Service preferences to automatically alert a sales associate the moment you walk into the store. Your sales associate will instantly be able to access your shopping history to better assist you. Like to browse first? No problem, just “check in” when you are ready for assistance. NM Service allows you to easily book appointments with your sales associates, send messages and ask questions. The app even notifies you when your alterations are ready for pick-up.
Once you have downloaded the app, you can opt into push notifications.
NM Service allows associates to better serve your needs. The app provides associates with easy access to informative details such as your Neiman Marcus store and NeimanMarcus.com purchase history. When you “check in” to NM Service, sales associates are notified of your arrival and are provided with a Facebook photograph so that you can be easily recognized.
Select items you 'heart' on the app. These favorite products will be visible to the sales associates you have designated.
