Stop reading if you don’t want to know who won or lost last night. The remaining PRAS crew heads to the Circle in The Square Theater on Broadway. “The world of theater is a world of imagination, a world of illusion, and a world of fantasy, and all of those things excite me,” Austin says giddy with excitement and anticipation. Host Angela takes the stage and asks, “Who doesn’t love a good Broadway show?” This week’s challenge revolves around the musical Godspell. The show’s composer Stephen Schwartz, the music man behind Broadway hits including Wicked, walks on stage and reveals that the 7 designers will be designing a costume for one of his leading ladies, actress Uzo Aduba. In honor of the 40th anniversary of the musical, the designers will create a look for an ostentatious, wealthy female character who steals from everyone, even the poor. It’s a separates challenge, as the broadway character will be dressed piece by piece in a number on stage. This week’s winner will not only have their look featured in the production, but their bio will be printed in the playbill. “It’s pretty freakin’ major,” Mondo comments.

It’s time to preform and the cast heads to Mood. Everyone hunts for fabric that’s oozing with a wealthy look. Austin comments on Kara’s erratic mood swings.

Back at the workroom, Mila voices her annoyance (again) with Kara and Kenley’s BFF attitude. “When the time comes that one of them gets eliminated, the other one might have a meltdown,” Mila says with perhaps a hint of jealousy.

Joanna, who admits she herself was in an amateur production of Godspell back in the day, walks into the workroom for her weekly fashion therapy sessions. Kara decides to go with “clean lines and a simple, chic aesthetic.” Joanna is not impressed with her  bow blouse and maxi skirt. “I am just concerned that this is not as ambitious as it should be for a Project Runway All Star.” Kara can’t hold back the tears.

Things are wrapping up and the quasi-costume designers dash to the Neiman Marcus Accessory Wall for their rich girl’s finishing touches. Jerrell describes his jacket as a piece of jewelry, Mondo says Kara’s outfit looks like a tube of lipstick, and Kenley for the first week is polka-dot-free, all while Mila describes herself as a “crazy cat woman” as she takes scissors to her white faux-fur chubby.

Time to impress the judges. Tony Award winner Sutton Foster, who currently stars on Broadway in Anything Goes, serves as a guest judge. Jerrell is safe and leaves the runway with little feedback. Now to the costume critiques: Sutton and Angela say that Michael’s look reminds them of a rich party girl. Isaac says Kenley’s look is flying at their faces, but needs tweaking. Austin’s reflection of conspicuous consumption with a nod to Marie Antoinette is a hit. Angela says Michael’s green skirt and headpiece reminds her of the Chiquita Banana woman. Mondo’s rich gypsy look is well received, but the judges agree that the “length looks unresolved.” Isaac says Kara’s look is the best she has done so far, but is it good enough?

Mondo wins! Austin and Kenley are safe. It’s between Mila and Kara. Kara is cut, with the judges citing that her construction was off.
