Designer collaborations come and go, but one that sticks, and remains meaningful to both parties, is Florsheim by Duckie Brown. The heritage shoemaker gets pizzazz from an experimental and highly respected design duo, who in turn widen their audience. And the customer? He gets laceless brogues, unexpected colors and updated classics.

“For Spring 2011 we thought of the American West and the desert. We decided to do a lot of the brogues in wonderful chalky colors like blue and pink,” said designer Steven Cox. ”We wanted the shoes to reflect an easygoing manner. It’s spring/summer after all, when men are more relaxed, and the living is easier.”
