Women's
Buyer’s Buy: Alison Day, Contemporary Sportswear

Day wears Diane von Furstenberg pants and an ALC top.
As a buyer you see the coolest contemporary sportswear on the market. What did you personally purchase for Spring?
I bought neutral blouses to work back to color I already own. Colored/novelty bottoms are very fun and exciting for Spring. Specifically, Diane von Furstenberg red pants and a Rag & Bone novelty skirt.

Day wears an Equipment blouse and Rag & Bone pencil skirt.
These are easy pieces that transition from work to evenings out.

Day pairs Ippolita bangles with the Rag & Bone skirt.
DVF is such a tried and true fashion brand that offers beautiful color. Rag & Bone is a fabulous line that provides novelty and interesting fashion. I love collecting their pieces.

Day's Stuart Weitzman booties from Fall 2011.
Colored bottoms. I love the idea of a bright pant with a blazer. Tribal. Either printed tribal pants, animal printed tops or natural accessories. Neon. Pops of neon are so fun for spring. I bought egg yolk yellow pants that look so crisp with white.

My style is a direct reflection of my personality. I feel I am business minded yet have an affinity for humor and try to maintain an upbeat demeanor. I really enjoy staying abreast of trends, from apparel to all things domestic. Therefore, I would say my personal style is feminine chic juxtaposed with whimsical edge. I have no problem wearing pearls with leather leggings.
