Each season, the duo behind the jewelry line Dannijo, sisters Danielle and Jodie Snyder, merge Danielle’s bohemian, rocker vibe with Jodie’s timeless sophistication, making Dannijo a go-to for statement pieces. Fall’s Navajo inspired accessories? Check. Spring’s oversized earring? Check.
Drawing inspiration from their personal styles, they produce a consistent collection of striking silhouettes and bold shapes. This season they intertwined delicate chains with a glittering abundance of Swarovski elements, that can stand alone or be layered and mixed together to express individual style.
The sisters taught themselves wirework using their father’s medical tools and began selling the collection to local boutiques. By high school, friends and family began taking notice of their jewelry, and seemingly overnight, their hobby turned into a full-fledged business with the opening of their first boutique in their hometown of Jackson, Florida. After college the sisters moved to New York, and continued collaborating on jewelry design. They officially launched Dannijo in 2007 and today they continue to hand make each piece in New York.
