Not as over the top as collections in the past, Balmain still gave us heaps of sparkle and shine, evoking David Bowie in the Ziggy Stardust years. Think Lurex suits with cropped pants worn with boots in black and gold, and jersey jumpsuits topped with detail-encrusted boxy jackets. Long-sleeved mini dresses with horizontal stripes.
