Burberry Prorsum: Let It Snow
The Fall 2011 forecast from Burberry Prorsum called for tailored dresses and coats…and snow.
“In a sea of Seventies it was interesting to see the Sixties surface in a lot of graphic black & white, with a Courreges moment in the vinyl capes for the finale,” said Ken Downing, Neiman Marcus fashion director.
Burberry streamed the show to its widest audience yet. Over 1000 guests, including Rachel Bilson and Kate Bosworth, attended the event in London’s Royal Park of Kensington Gardens. Burberry flagships from London to Beijing presented the livestream in store. And London’s famous Piccadilly Circus streamed the show on a 32-meter screen, in full view of the public.

And yes, Burberry made it snow for the finale! Remember, last month they made it rain for the men’s show. Next time, prepare for hail?
