Nods to the Van Trapp family, Heidi of the Alps and heavy Germanic notes were a surprise at Emilio Pucci under the design direction of Peter Dundas. Hems to the knee, and dirndles below the knee! This represents a shift in hemline direction at a house that embraces the micro mini.
This was Pucci at its sexy best in shades of green, with seam details, updated Pucci prints, peacock patterns, tipped with black chantilly lace, and corset details in bodices. Show-stopping, long evening gowns came in mixed media of jersey and sequins, in asymmetrical details and draping. A beautiful Fall collection.
