Juliska Country Estate Comes to The Table

Juliska Country Estate Collection

An afternoon in the English Countryside immediately prompts magical thoughts – sipping tea in a lush garden, overlooking formal flowerbeds filled with phlox and delphinium.  Traditional English culture invites conversation and evokes memories through food and home.  Juliska, the dinnerware crafter, elegantly encapsulates these memories in its latest collection, Country Estate.  The quintessential English pattern was created by Deborah Sears of Isis Ceramics, a painter, whom Juliska credits as “the finest hand in all of England.”

“I was thrilled to have this opportunity to work with Juliska to create the Country Estate pattern.  I am passionate about bringing identity and decoration back to our table setting, which in recent times have become minimal, devoid of character and often soulless.  Country Estate is a welcome antidote, a pattern which joyfully depicts the narrative English country life – its buildings, people, landscapes and activities – in a way that is both engaging and timeless,” says Sears.

For the first time, hand-painted Delftware-style design is meticulously translated into a decal and applied to a tough stoneware body.  The result, both exquisite and groundbreaking, offers a new category in tableware – “Everyday Scenic Dinnerware” – a fusion of age-old decorative techniques, with modern functionality.

Enjoy the mystical grandeur of Country Estate – the lovely main house, tranquil boat house, or its charming conservatory — to name a few.  The timeless elegance can be appreciated for generations to come.   Juliska Country Estate is available on NeimanMarcus.com.
