Review: Glam Glow Mud Mask

Glam Glow

The dry heat of summer and the harsh rays of its sun leave skin parched and peeling. In such contemptible conditions a trip to the spa may seem to be the only solution. A time-saving alternative? Glam Glow Tingling and Exfoliating Mud Mask. At first glance the petite pot of mud underwhelmed me. However a small amount of mud went far, and the recommended 10 minute sit time flew by as I found the mask to be refreshingly cooling rather than “tingling.” Despite the glamorous packaging, the product feels wonderfully natural on the skin. Whereas some exfoliants are packed with artificial micro beads, Glam Glow is the real deal – made with real pieces of tea leaf and mud sourced from the South of France.

Glam Glow's French Clay

Not only did the mask pull my skin out of its summer slump by polishing away the dry buildup, my skin tone was brighter and dewier. The essential ingredient: tea leaf. These green tea pieces found in Glam Glow’s mud release Super-Squalene, UGCG-AntiOxidants and Polyphenols, which in turn trigger a collagen synthesis that Glam Glow calls TEAOXI, a process that evened my skin tone, reduced my pore size and had me glowing for three days.

Glam Glow will be available at Neiman Marcus stores in mid-September. The Beauty Event is September 8-18!
