The Fall/Winter 2012 collections hit the runway for only a few minutes, but you can catch the action all season long on the Neiman Marcus YouTube Channel.

Michael Kors

Michael Kors opened his Fall 2012 show with a couple wearing checks. The rugged yet elegant take on tartan plaid then led to more cozy cabin-chic pieces like cashmere sweater dresses, blanket cardigans, and winterized  accessories like shearling-wrappped satchels, fox-fur collars and thick knit ski socks. The collection closed with smiling models (a runway rarity and a Kors signature), sequin gowns, and metallic sandals.

3.1 Phillip Lim

Futuristic models made their way down a smoke filled runway at the 3.1 Phillip Lim Fall 2012 show. The strong super-hero-esque collection featured modern minimalist separates – knee length coats and geometric print knits – in monochromatic hues.

Theyskens’ Theory

For Fall 2012, Olivier Theyskens continues to meld his taste for fashion-forward design with Theory’s staples, essentials for every wardrobe. Leather skirts, slouchy trousers and a dark take on sheer cruised down the runway looking cool and current.
