Tom Ford Launches Makeup & Skin Care (We Have Photos!)

We already know and treasure Tom Ford lipsticks and fragrances. At last, Tom Ford Beauty now encompasses a full range of cosmetics and skin treatments; and they are a paragon of glamour and luxury. Tom Ford’s vision is that any woman can create a complete look in which her individual beauty is amplified and she appears to radiate from within. He says a defined beauty look, whether muted and elegant or unabashedly glamorous, lets a woman fully express herself, her mood and the times.

At the core of Tom Ford Beauty is the sumptuous color that makes up the signature look—sensual eyes, bold cheeks and lacquered lips—achievable with minimum effort and maximum effectiveness. In addition, the collection includes Ford’s essential products for creating energized and illuminated skin, and for defining and sculpting the face before applying color.

THE COLOR COLLECTION

The centerpiece of the Color Collection is a range of ten opulent Eye Color Quads that allow women to achieve Tom Ford’s signature looks. (See the ad images with model Lara Stone.) Each quad contains a color harmony of four shades in four luxurious finishes – sheer sparkle, satin, shimmer and matte – for a variety of looks from subtle to bold. There are also eye pencils and mascaras to complement these.

Tom Ford believes the brows are one of the most important elements of the face. They are the only feature that can actually be altered without cosmetic surgery. A darker, heavier brow can make a high forehead appear less high; a paler, thinner brow can have the reverse effect. A sharply angled face can be softened with a gently curved brow, while a round face can be made more angular with an arched and tailored brow. The Tom Ford Brow Sculptor, offered in four shades, has a unique calligraphy tip that allows an application range from thin to wide. The opposite end features a grooming brush and a custom sharpener.

The lipsticks, as you probably know, are a palette of eighteen classic lip colors. From bare nude to fire red to deep brown, each one is Ford’s modern ideal of an essential makeup shade. Rare and exotic ingredients including soja seed extract, Brazilian murumuru butter and chamomilla flower oil create an ultra-creamy texture with an incredibly smooth application.

For the first time, Tom Ford now offers lip color in the form of Ultra Shine Lip Gloss, in ten shades. In addition, there is Lip Lacquer, a clear gloss that coats the lips with precious pulverized pearls, creating a reflective shine. These pearls can give a polished, sophisticated look to nude lips, or create a deeply sexy sheen when layered over color.

Sharp red fingernails are a signature of Tom Ford ads, so Tom Ford Nail Lacquer is a natural. Sixteen glamorous colors with extra-glossy shine are formulated with a bendable coating for longer wear.

Before she applies color, Tom Ford wants a woman to prime her complexion and sculpt her bone structure’s appearance to achieve the illusion of symmetry and balance that is universally perceived as beautiful. These illuminating and contouring products were created for precisely that.
