runway

I?m here at Neiman Marcus looking at…We look at
all the shows, assess the looks top to toe and then
bring back those key beauty looks and trends that
we think are applicable for the new season. (:11)

I love the idea of bringing the spa professional
touch to your at-home beauty routine. An easy to
use product (for the non professional among us) is
the Clarisonic Amethyst Butterfly Plus. It?s
incredibly easy to use and this system uses sonic
isolation technology to exfoliate, deep cleanse
pores, terribly important and prep your skin for the
application of your favorite lotions and potions.
The key to a perfect beauty look is to start with
corrective products as your base. As editors we
test the multitude of options to ensure what
products from the vast selections of anti-aging,
smoothing, and illuminating oils and balms work
the best. (:12)
My favorite product of the moment, (supercharged
with retinol and a collagen promoting complex) is
the wrinkle corrective concentrate from Cle de
Peau.
Also worth mentioning is Genefique Eye by
Lancome which reduces the fine lines and deeper
wrinkles around the eyes, a key to having your eye
makeup look just perfect. (:22)
For your color base, think of a series of layers to
get that perfect flawless complexion. First begin
with a highlighting pen.
My favorite is Eclat Lumiere by Chanel.
Use this as a subtle illuminator and then apply
your foundation. A favorite at Bazaar is Re-Nutriv Ultimate
Radiance makeup by Estee Lauder. It infuses
jewel-like light and clarity to skin through microfine
crystal mesh—(:08)
Another favorite product for the busy woman on
the go is Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer which
combines skincare and color all in one compact
bottle.

Foundation should be finished with a chic touch of
powder to avoid an overdewy look. (:08 w air)
On the runways we specifically saw some
wonderful new looks for eyes. (:05)
The smoky eye is a recurring trend in the beauty
world. This season the look was less rockstar and
more of a soft smoky finish. (:10)

This new season, the color palette for smoky eyes
is a gorgeous mix of browns, bronzes and golds.
My preferred choice is Dior?s Golden Jungle

This yellow Prada, this yellow Prada coat works so
well with the new chocolate eye.
We?ve paired this with a little Chanel bootie for that
touch of surprise. (:09)

Perhaps one of the most, perhaps one of the most
fashion forward looks was a rainbow bright look for
eyes.
This new look gives us lids painted in rainbow
hues with an iridescent finish. (:12)

The trick is to find a perfect palette that has a
variety of different colors. Yves Saint Laurent?s
Pure Chromatics Wet and Dry Eyeshadow
Palette serves this purpose and is perfect for this

McCartney?s Fall runway show: Electric blue

look simple but high impact. This great little leather
mini dress by the Row with statement shoes by
Fendi. The whole look, top to toe is fashion
forward and impossibly fabulous for the new

Without question my own personal favorite, Aqua
Fiorentina, I wore recently religiously in London
covering the Queen?s Diamond Jubliee. It?s an
absolute must in my own makeup bag (and would
