Created in 1929 and considered the scent of heroism, this Guerlain fragrance was inspired by the beautiful heroine, Liu, in Puccini's opera 'Turandot.' In 1933, the scent was presented to Rose Kennedy, who wanted her own version of Chanel No. 5.

The Liu woman is uncompromising and stands her ground, and she lives to teach others the beauty of mystery and love.
