In May 2012, in conjunction with the Pre Fall 2012 collection, Helmut Lang launched a capsule collection of cut-and-sew kinetic jersey and voltage rib items simply titled HELMUT. Consisting of tanks, tees, maxi skirts, dresses and leggings in earth tones, black, and white, HELMUT is an assortment of basics at an accessible price point ranging from $85 to $210. This tightly edited collection of key pieces features asymmetry, uneven hemlines, and a play on proportion. Simple and well constructed, the pieces stay true to Helmut Lang's minimalist modern aesthetic and can be easily worked into any wardrobe or stand alone.
