About the Parfums de Rosine Collection:
Marie-Hélène Rogeon was born into a family of perfume makers. She learned to distinguish the beauty and quality of perfumes at a tender age. As a very small child, she admired the ephemeral and outstanding Rosine perfumes by Paul Poiret in her grandparent's collection.

In 1991, after fifteen years of marketing and after launching many perfumes for Givenchy, Jean Deprez and Pierre Balmain, Marie-Hélène decided to live out her own experience and create her own perfume company. The discreet alliance that Parfums de Rosine had developed with the Rose is to become a public affair with the launch of each new rose fragrance.

Marie-Hélène could not help but choose a garden as the Paris home for her perfumes. The Palais Royal was the site of the regent's select evening parties. It rang to the enthusiastic speeches of the revolutionary Camille Desmoulins. It was a place for gambling and amorous intrigue during the Restoration years. It is the haunt of actors from the Comedie Francaise and was home to such literary giants as Jean Cocteau and Colette.

The Palais Royal has become part of the perfume landscape, with the opening of the Parfums de Rosine boutique in 1991, a precursor followed in 1992 by Shiseido.
