THE MONCLER

Sizing & Fit Guide

Since 1952, Moncler’s mission has been to provide the ultimate warmth and protection in jackets, coats, and sportswear, and to do it with style. The name Moncler comes from from an abbreviation for the town of Monestier-de-Clermont in the French Alps, where the company originated. In 2003, Italian entrepreneur Remo Ruffini purchased the brand and transformed it into a renowned Italian luxury company with French roots.

Moncler’s instantly recognizable puffer jackets take you from the ski slopes to city streets, but their collection—and their renowned quality—now extend to include an array of apparel ready to take you wherever adventure leads. Of course, getting the right fit is key to finding the right piece, so we’ve created this page to make that easier.

Finding The Perfect Fit

Our Moncler size guides for men and women (shown below and in further detail on the product detail pages) include measurements for different sizes, and our men’s product detail pages also include sizing equivalents that convert Moncler’s numerical sizes into more standard forms of sizing used in the U.S. Our Moncler kids’ collection lists sizes in standard U.S. format.

In general, Moncler runs fairly true to size, with a few caveats. It’s good to note that Moncler jackets are designed to be worn over other layers, so you might consider going down a size if you prefer a more fitted look or plan to wear them over light layers. Moncler’s sportswear is designed with a slim fit, so consider sizing up if you want a bit of extra room. Whether you are purchasing jackets or knitwear, be sure to refer to the size guides shown above and in further detail on the product detail pages for specific measurements to ensure you get the fit you prefer.

MONCLER OUTERWEAR SIZING: FALL/WINTER JACKETS

Moncler fall/winter jackets are meant to be worn over other layers, so you should consider going up a size to allow room for that layering. Refer to the size guides shown above and in further detail on the product detail pages for specific measurements to ensure you get the fit you prefer.

MONCLER OUTERWEAR SIZING: LIGHTWEIGHT JACKETS

Most Moncler lightweight jackets have more down channels (called boudins) and down fill power than their fall counterparts. Consequently, they tend to have slimmer fits through the body and shoulder. Because they are meant to be worn over other layers, you should consider going up a size to allow room for that layering. Refer to the size guides shown above and in further detail on the product detail pages for specific measurements to ensure you get the fit you prefer.

MONCLER SPORTSWEAR SIZING: TOPS AND KNITWEAR

Moncler’s sportswear follows seasonal fashion fits, so it can be boxy, oversized, or slim-fitting, depending on what’s current. Also, each different fabric has a unique fit. For slim-fit pieces, consider sizing up if you want a bit of extra room, but keep in mind that fit for each style will vary. Refer to the size guides shown above and in further detail on the product detail pages for specific measurements to ensure you get the fit you prefer.
