2023 Neiman Marcus Awards Ceremony & Winners

The evening of March 5, 2023 marked an exciting occasion—the Neiman Marcus Awards ceremony, which brought together the fashion industry’s leading designers, including our distinguished winners: Brunello Cucinelli, Jonathan Anderson, and Amina Muaddi.

An Evening Of Celebration

Global business leaders, creative forces, and fashion notables from around the world were on hand to honor our 2023 Neiman Marcus Awards winners in Paris. We caught up with a few of them, one on one, and captured the moment through the lens of renowned photographer Jonathan Daniel Pryce.

Celebrating Extraordinary Talent & Creative Innovation

Neiman Marcus is proud to relaunch its yearly awards, a platform to recognize and amplify breakthrough luminaries in fashion globally.

Created in 1938 by Carrie Marcus Neiman and Stanley Marcus to spotlight extraordinary talent, the award has honored more than 150 of fashion’s great contributors, including CHRISTIAN DIOR, COCO CHANEL, YVES SAINT LAURENT, GIORGIO ARMANI, GRACE KELLY, KARL LAGERFELD, MIUCCIA PRADA, OSCAR DE LA RENTA, RALPH LAUREN, SALVATORE FERRAGAMO, CAROLINA HERRERA, ESTÉE LAUDER, and BACCARAT, among others.

The visionary Brunello Cucinelli shares our core value of leading with love for all. Known as much for his humanistic ethos and enduring commitment to conscious capitalism as he is for his elevated lifestyle designs, Cucinelli represents the pinnacle of luxury fashion. His namesake label, whose heritage is rooted in innovation and high-quality Italian craftsmanship, specializes in classic, functional pieces that feel both contemporary and able to withstand the test of time.

To commemorate his induction, Cucinelli designed the exclusive Icon Collection for Neiman Marcus composed of women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, and bags that will be available in 10 Neiman Marcus stores and online in April.

Jonathan Anderson was selected to receive the Creative Impact Award for being a prolific voice and force of measurable influence for a storied house. A decade into his tenure as Creative Director at LOEWE, Anderson continues to bring a modern take on the brand’s rich history while putting craft at the forefront of its evolution. His ability to drive industry trends and forge his own creative path makes him an unparalleled visionary and true innovator in his field.

Designer and entrepreneur Amina Muaddi perfectly encapsulates what it means to be an innovator in today’s modern era. Her iconic footwear designs, born from an appreciation for masterful technique and Italian artisanship, are instantly recognizable for their unique shapes and use of unexpected materials. Her brand’s widespread success and meteoric growth have earned Muaddi a spot as one of fashion’s most influential designers of the decade.
