About Salon 1884:
Andrea Mary Marshall launched Salon 1884 in 2021 exclusively through Neiman Marcus stores. Andrea Mary Marshall is a multi-disciplinary artist and fashion designer who lives and works in New York City. Along with a successful career in fine art, Marshall has over 15 years of fashion design experience and received her BFA from Parsons School of Design.
Inspired to combine both disciplines, Marshall founded the luxury label Salon 1884, named after the Parisian art exhibition famed for unveiling John Singer Sargent’s “Madame X.” With a focus on exceptional craftsmanship and sustainable practices, each editioned collection is designed for the modern woman and her unique approach to style. Each garment is responsibly made with environmentally conscious materials and manufactured in New York City’s Garment Center at factories that maintain ethical labor standards.
