Introducing Loubiglittergloss: Glitter and Shine Your Way to a Fresh Summer Look
Set your summer to high sparkle with Loubiglittergloss, Christian Louboutin Beauty's new summer limited edition for 2019. The collection of oh-so-glittery, ultra-glossy lip colour turns up the heat with its brilliant array of six red shades. But much like summer's sultry, magical nights, the Loubiglittergloss collection is short-lived, and will shine bright for just this one season.
Why glitter? Christian Louboutin has been fascinated by it since his teen years when he attended Paris' famous cabaret spectacles. Since then, glitter has become part of his signature and a proper facet of his vocabulary. Since 2010, season after season, this fascinating design theme has been a recurrent material in his creations a nod to femininity and glamour.
After all, there's nothing better than a bold dose of glitter after sundown. A stroke of Loubiglittergloss brings this same energy, making it the look for stunning sunset moments and celebrations.
The new Loubiglittergloss formula is elegantly glittery, ultra-pigmented and high-shine. The collection features six vibrant red shades, each one a glistening take on Christian Louboutin Beauty's signature hue: the iconic red "Rouge Louboutin," orange-red "Marimalus," coral-red "Alminette," purple-red "Moona," pink-red "Zuleika," and burgundy-red "Josephine."
Isamaya Ffrench, Christian Louboutin Beauty's global make-up artist, shares her way to rock the Loubiglittergloss look: "Loubiglittergloss should do all the talking for your makeup look! It's a fresh and summery lip product with high shine so I always wear mine with a nude Tape à L'Oeil eye colour around my eyes and lots and lots of black mascara to keep things modern. I love Batignolles nail varnish for a retro pop of colour on my nails."
In keeping with Christian Louboutin's vision of beauty as objet d'art, the Loubiglittergloss bottle is crystal-clear and carved with an intricate mermaid tail pattern to encapsulate the opulent colour like an elixir. This treasure is enclosed with a turret-like crown reminiscent of the ornate aesthetics of Middle Eastern antiquities and the Art Deco movement. Mounted with a small ring threaded with coloured ribbons, the vial can be worn as a pendant.
