Christopher was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His love of art and design began at an early age, equally sparked by for his love of anime and comic books, the works of Paul Gauguin and Pablo Picasso, and a uniquely idiosyncratic Southern American dress. In 2016 he graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where the concept of the CJR brand was established through his senior thesis collection, where he solidified his penchant for creating work that explores the liminal space between American pragmatism and high-octane glamour.
The Christopher John Rogers brand exists to create emotional and intentional clothing with a focus on effortful dressing, directed towards a client with a strong sense of self. It delivers clothing with an emphasis on quality manufacturing and timeless appeal, whilst encouraging our customer to take up space.
