About Church's:
In 1617, Anthony Church began a small production of handcrafted shoes in the English town of Northampton, UK. Northampton was becoming known for its thriving shoe industry; but little did any know that in 2024 the brand would be one of Northampton’s most notable global artisans. Enabling Church's commitment to quality and craft to reach a worldwide audience was Prada's ownership in 1999.
Even today Church's shoes remain something special. From the Northampton factory they are proud to showcase the art of fine shoe making, British Goodyear construction. On average each pair of Church's shoes undergo approximately 250 to 270 different handcrafted processes. All the processes are performed by specialists in their field working with the finest materials. This hand detailing in turn makes the production time longer than most. On average 58 days are required for a single pair. But, in 58 days is crafted a pair of shoes providing you support, comfort, and long-lasting pleasure.
