A woody, smoky vetiver softened by creamy coconut pulp.
Fragrance Notes:- Haitian vetiver
- Cedarwood
- Sandalwood
- Lentisque
- 35-million-year-old fossilized Himalayan amber
Inspiration:Vetiver roots are so strong and fibrous that they provide an anchor to soils that are prone to erosion, much like a mangrove. The plant is grown in many countries, and aside from its ecological benefits, vetiver is used aromatically in mandis (baths) for relaxation, and is sprinkled with water and then suspended from a roof to provide cooling.
When I experience vetiver, I am reminded of driving through Indonesian villages at dusk, the smells of life intertwined through cooking fires and the burning leaves to ward off mosquitos. This fragrance is a journey for me, to which I have added the fossilized amber as an homage to the smells of village life.
Sillage:A lover's desire anchored in the embrace of calm acceptance.
