Before discovering her passion for jewelry, Lauren Harwell Godfrey spent more than 15 years in advertising creative direction and also explored the culinary arts. Today, the trained chef and consummate creative feels most fulfilled when designing new styles for her line of bold fine jewelry. Handcrafted in 18-karat gold with colorful gemstone and enamel accents, Godfrey’s pieces draw inspiration from ancient textiles and ethnic patterns, imbuing each modern heirloom with a sense of history. She’s also an advocate for minority and women’s rights and uses her platform and brand to raise funds for nonprofits close to her heart, with almost $150,000 donated to date.
