Created by Master Perfumer Robert Bienaimé, Mon Boudoir was originally launched in 1919. It was Queen Marie of Romania's favorite perfume; she wore it until her death. To celebrate the centenary of its creation, the House of Houbigant has revived this inimitable perfume.
The fragrance opens with a brilliant note of bergamot accompanied by intriguing peppery notes. A heart of rose, geranium, ylang ylang, and jasmine is wrapped by the velvety notes of iris and heliotrope. On the bottom, patchouli and sandalwood join the most imperial of the ambers, heated by benzoin and musk, and embellished with Tahiti vanilla.
