LE17SEPTMBRE launched in 2013 pursuing minimal silhouettes and restrained elegances. Designer Eunhey Shin was born in South Korea, majored in Music and worked as a blogger. She did not major in fashion but started making clothes as she loved fashion. Her husband, Hans, who graduated from London College of Fashion, joined the brand in the second half of 2019. “LE17SEPTMBRE” is the date of Shin’s birthday in French. Naming the brand after her birthday, she hoped every Le917 piece would be like a birthday to her customers.
