Discover the elegance of 18th Century French artistry in a limited portfolio of Aubusson rugs from the Nourison Archives, exclusively for Horchow. In this design, a regal center medallion is surrounded by richly articulated floral embellishments on a field of burnished gold. Peerless opulence for the high fashion lifestyle. Named for the town where they were originally created for the Royal Court, these exquisite Aubusson rugs are woven on special looms, with each detail and color variation achieved by thousands of painstakingly hand-tied knots of the finest wool yarns. Carrying forward the techniques and aesthetic ideal of creating a tapestry weave that rivals the refinement of a masterpiece painting, these truly unique carpets will bring luxurious texture and incomparable beauty to today's home.

  • EXCLUSIVELY AT NEIMAN MARCUS
  • One-of-a-kind handcrafted, traditional rug.
  • Hand-knotted wool.

  • Imported.

Please note: Rugs (especially wool rugs) are prone to a natural shedding process. With regular vacuuming, the shedding will decrease over time. Hand-knotted rugs tend to shed less than hand-tufted rugs, and flatweave rugs will shed less than those with a deeper pile, but all rugs will shed more in high-traffic areas than they do in lower-traffic spaces.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide rug swatches at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We recommend using a rug pad with every indoor rug to prolong its beauty by minimizing everyday wear and tear and providing a little breathing space to help prevent fiber damage. A pad also helps stabilize the rug, reducing slippage on hard floors.
