Showcasing Mr. Lauren’s commitment to fine craftsmanship, the Jaquelin vest—first seen on the runway of Ralph Lauren’s Fall/Holiday 2024 show in New York City—undergoes an extensive artisanal process to achieve its one-of-a-kind look. To begin, a team of eight specialized technicians collaborate to create the paper pattern used to form the jaquelin’s unique design. Next, luxurious lamb shearling is meticulously cut to follow the pattern. To complete the look, lamb-suede fringes in various lengths are cut and applied to this style using a fur seam.
