Drawing on his carefree youth by the Mediterranean Sea, Verdura incorporated rope-work, weaving, or wrapping into most of his designs, creating texture and tension that he balanced with whimsical subjects. The bubbles necklace incorporates the jeweler’s signature rope motif in a versatile piece that can be worn long for a casual style or doubled around the neck for a more tailored look.
